Stock Photography FAQ

How difficult is it to get representation in a Stock Photography Library today?

It has become much more difficult for photographers to get representation by stock agencies today than it was ten years ago.  Many agencies are still willing to take on good photographers who produce (Dunoff, 1995).  "Agencies like to sign on photographers who will be serious shooters of stock, and the requirement is not necessarily numbers of images, but quality of images" (Seed, 1997).
